Taiko, designed by Piero Lissoni
The Taiko bed is characterized by a rigorous geometry that blends in perfectly with the inviting softness of the headboard. The wooden bedframe continues behind the headboard, covered by plentiful feather back cushions with removable cover. Its constant and welcoming volume comes in the warm notes and golden blonde color of heat-treated elm, a valuable finishing that matches the back cushion lining in the wide range of Porro’s fabrics, leathers and eco-leathers. Designed for 1600 and 1800 mm wide mattresses, it can be equipped with bedsprings of different heights up to 110 mm. The bed is offered with a side tray, that gives the product an asymmetric look, or without the tray, in a simpler and smaller version.
