Sadoru, designed by Gabriele e Oscar Buratti
Sadoru is a high and compact leather bed designed for Porro by Oscar and Gabriele Buratti. With its intimate proportions and its leather total look, Sadoru features a bedhead that is high and grand without being too deep. The bed is characterized by strong thicknesses, double stitches and by the sophisticated detail of the large curved bedhead with an inverted pleat that reminds of haute-couture. All these features point out a creative and extremely detailed project, carried out with an almost handcrafted, saddle-like approach. It comes in all the 10 leather nuances of Porro’s Collection as well as in different sizes: in the widths 1600 and 1800, in the depths 2000 and 2100, but also in the King and Queen Size versions.
Founded in 1925 in the area of Brianza, according to the tradition of Italian cradle of high-quality furniture production, today Porro is an international brand, distinguished by the inherent ability to choose, process and interpret wood, offering an incredibly wide and precise range of finishes and uses in unexpected ways, introducing advanced technologies for glossy and matte varnishes along with excellent woodworking techniques in the past.
